Using Suno.com, an AI website that creates original songs in minutes, I used a prompt about my dog Squeakers to generate original ditties in various musical genres. Below are some of my favorite songs from the endeavor.
The prompt I used was: “A [blank] song about a dog named Squeakers that is half chihuahua and half dachshund. Squeakers is half bald and can never win any dog races.” Admittedly, the prompt was my husband’s idea based on my pup’s physicality and looks and poor performance as a dog racer (link). I had a lot of fun with all the songs and it’s incredible how fast the AI tool can “write” a song in virtually any musical genre that exists (and many genres that are either unfamiliar to me or were constructed as part of this AI). I think if Squeakers could understand the lyrics, he’d have a laugh at himself. He’s a good boy.
